Getting Married Abroad
Amanda Statham

Synopsis: With the average cost of a wedding in the UK now a staggering [pound]13,000, more couples each year are choosing to tie the knot somewhere more exotic. With almost 50 destinations - from the Caribbean to California, from the Swiss Alps to Sri Lanka - couples can be as imaginative as they like, but they must also be well informed and well organised to realise their dream day. Experienced travel and style journalist, Amanda Statham, gives the low-down on those crucial details. For each location there's all the essentials: weather and timing; where to stay and where to marry; licences, laws and documents; health and travel.

Review: I found the hotel i plan to get married in on the lovely island of Tobago in this book, it was described as a 'dream hotel' and although our big day has not arrived we have heard nothing but positive things about our choice of hotel. This book was very well researched and is a valuble source of information for anyone thinking or planning to get married abroad.
